December 1st, 2006Ella Plays With Soul
October 7th, 2006Look for a new CD at Art Wire Music this Christmas season. I have been recording Ella for the past six months. The eclectic first CD will feature music from avant-garde Jazz, to Heavy Metal. Ella plays with such enthusiasm and a carefree spirit. Most takes are her first encounter with the instruments which include keyboards, guitar, percussion, drum machines, bass, and more. The vocals were all first takes with no editing or digital manipulations as she prefers the pure ways of old. The CD is ready! Order your copy today.

Candelabrum
July 18th, 2006
This set of Gothic Candelabras was made out of 25′ of recycled copper cable. Each one holds 7 candles. To make this set the cable is cut into 16 pieces. Seven pieces of seven stranded cable are held around a longer eighth piece of cable. The ends of the longer eighth piece are separated and hold the piece together from the center. The result is a pair of 11″x10″ candlestick holders. Recycled, functional, handmade, art. Also available in aluminium.
Back from the Northeast
June 24th, 2006This is a picture of New York I took from the highest point on the east coast. Overlooking Sandy Hook National Park and New York City the New Jersey Atlantic Highlands Park atop Mt. Mitchell was worth the trip and free for all to visit. While there we stopped in Bahrs restaurant and marina for lunch. Established in 1917 Bahrs has a view of the bay and the draw bridge that connects to Sandy Hook. After trying Their “world famous” clam chowder and lobster bisque I can see why they are still in business. What does this have to do with Art, Wire or Music you ask? Inspiration baby.
